WHAT IS MASTERING

The purpose of mastering is to balance sonic elements of a stereo mix and optimize playback across all systems and media formats. Traditionally, mastering is done using tools like equalization, compression, limiting and stereo enhancement.

DIGITAL & MODERN MASTERING

We master your work to give it a professional edge. With music being released primarily on digital platforms, it’s important that your final masters meet industry standards in order to avoid inter-sample peaks and ensure distortion is never introduced during file conversions. Balanced, wide, loud high quality masters are key.

OCCUPY CARES

As musicians, it’s important to have a studio you can trust to give you high-quality end results. Whether you are established as a musician or trying to find your big break, you want to make a good first impression with your work. That’s where we come in.

Have A Question?

Preparing Your Tracks For Mastering

  • Turn off anything that adds loudness and leave only what is needed for the right tonal balance, dynamic range, character etc.
  • If a limiter, multi-band compressor, or even a normal compressor is used to increase the average loudness only, get rid of it.
  • Please allow at least 6db of headroom for the mastering engineer
